I knew I wanted to create an image to represent NursesNOW! other than the standard pictures that define most agencies. Why do hospitals cancel? Hospital cancellations are due to a fluctuation in census. Keep in mind that when staffing needs go down, agency nurses are cancelled first. Hospitals have up to 2 hours before your scheduled shift to cancel you. But even if you do get cancelled, we are almost always able to place you at a different hospital, if you like. back to top How do I get scheduled? NursesNOW! has noticed a trend in the staffing industry : Hospitals like to have their agency staffing finished early, usually for the entire month. NursesNOW! can fax your monthly availability to a hospital and get you confirmed early. (only after you agree to work that shift). If for some reason your availability changes, just let us know. But remember, you always have the flexibility to be scheduled same-day or same-week if you like. Call our office to give us your availability. The best time to call is Mondays and Tuesdays between 9am and 5pm. Ask a NursesNOW! scheduler for a monthly availability calendar or simply give us a call. back to top How often do I have to work?
